PlaySMS Can't send SMS

I am using Playsms 1.4 in ubuntu with apache 2, PHP 5.6, MySql 5.7. I have a custom gateway plugin to connect my provider Http Api.

My problem is if i copy and past the generated url in to a browser with the credentials it gives me a NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID. i think due to this playsms is unable to send sms.

Is there anyway to bypass this error.

Is there any way i can add curl -K or wget --insecure before the url eg:- ( curl -K https://bulkmessage.com.mv/jsp/receiveSMS.jsp?userid=xxxxxx&password=xxxxxx&to=xxxxxx&text=test+%40admin])

Reason is that if i copy the url from log and and want to send the url manualy i have to use curl -k or wget --insecure. if i dont use the option it fails to send.
