Delay among SMS

I had a problem with my SMS provider about sending many messages in a short period of time, their security system detect my messages as SPAM, and blocked me. I have called to the call center, and the attendent said me to send messages with a delay to not be detected by their security system.

So my questions are:

  1. Is there a way to put a short delay between each message?
  2. Is there a way to send a X quantities of messages and then wait some minutes to send X quantities again?
  3. Or, a different solution of options I’ve mentioned above.

I’ll make these changes to see how long it’ll take to send about 1500 sms in a batch.
